From July 2002 Newsletter: The City of Powder Springs will construct a sidewalk along Shipp Road between Florence and Old Lost Mountain Roads on Hopeland Park Phase 1 side. This will require some landscape changes at the entrance sign. The HOA Board has granted the required easements for the sidewalk construction and will have received $200 for release of easements before and after the entrance sign. |
From July 2002 Newsletter: Congratulations to the McColloms for their work to keep their landscape looking great. They will receive a $25 gift certificate, which can be picked up at the August HOA Board meeting. HOA Board members will nominate homeowners monthly for consideration of the Curb Appeal award. Five homeowners were nominated in July. The criteria for choosing the winner will range from overall curb appeal, best holiday decoration, special landscaping, or other efforts that make a home stand out as an asset to the community. |
