 From July Newsletter. The Homeowners Association has purchased paint for homeowners to paint their mailbox. All you need is a brush. Let’s all get together and get it done in September. You can pick up paint from: Cary Needham, 3241 St. Claire Court, 9/14 10 am - noon. Jonnie Mckenzie, 5169 St. Claire Place, 9/21 10 am - noon. |
The next Architectural Control Committee meeting will be 8/6 at 7:00 p.m. at 3241 St. Claire Court, the home of Cary Needham. |
From June Newsletter. Hello Homeowners! I must say that our neighborhood is really looking great and thank you for all of your hard work and efforts to keep Hopeland Park looking this way. The ACC Standards we are using were given to us from the developer and we are trying to enforce these to keep our neighborhood values rising. So far so good! Here are just a few reminders for all homeowners: 1. If you are painting your house a different color, it must be approved by the ACC. Just give your color swatches to me or another member of the ACC for approval. You will be contacted within 30 days of submitting your request, or sooner if you are on a deadline. If your house is painted a color that is not in the color scheme of the neighborhood, it will have to be re-painted. We are asking any homeowners who did not stay within the ACC guidelines and painted their house a color outside the subdivision color pallet to come within these guidelines the next time the house is painted. 2. All sheds, pools, fences, home additions, deck or patio adjustments, etc. MUST be approved by the ACC. There are City of Powder Springs codes that must be obeyed for these types of changes and additions. 3. If you notice something that you don’t feel should be happening, don’t hesitate to call me. There are currently 5 members of the ACC and we could really use more volunteers. Our meetings have been moved to the 1st Tuesday of every month at my home (3241 St. Claire Court) at 7:00 PM. The meetings are short and it usually takes only an hour of your time to help the committee with its monthly duties. The next meeting is July 2nd. We hope to see more homeowners participate.
